BRANDS I’VE WORKED WITH
WHY IT MATTERS
Get noticed. Get chosen. Keep them coming back.
That’s what great visuals can do for you.
I start with the goal. Shoot with purpose. And make it unmistakably yours.
A photographer’s eye with a marketer’s instinct.
Hi. I’m Frank.
I’m a Bay Area commercial photographer working with sports, fitness, and active-lifestyle brands.
I spent decades helping marketers reach their audiences through advertising, media partnerships, and branded-content campaigns at Google, Outside Magazine, Bicycling, and Men's Health.
That experience shapes the way I approach every shoot. I bring preparation and collaboration to the process, help people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and stay alert to the moments that weren't on the shot list.
When I'm not shooting, you'll often find me riding Mount Tam, Bolinas Ridge, or the Marin Headlands. The active lifestyle I photograph is one I've been part of for years.
Campaign and Product Visuals
High-impact stills and motion captured for full-funnel campaigns. Built for every touchpoint—from hero imagery to social cut-downs.
Short-Form Video & Reels
Social reels, recap edits, and UGC-style clips captured seamlessly alongside stills—maximizing a single shoot day to cover both photo and video.
Studio & Gym Content
Your classes, coaches, members, and spaces, refreshed throughout the year for your site, social, email, and print.
WHAT I DO
Event & Team Coverage
Embedded with your team at races, relays, and brand activations. Real-time imagery for social while the event unfolds, plus polished selects and a recap reel to follow.
Athlete & Founder Portraits
On-location lit portraits of the people behind your brand, from the athletes who rely on it to the founders and teams who build it.
Working with me: single projects or ongoing partnerships. Many clients book 4–5 shoots a year on retainer, so each shoot builds on what I already know about their brand.

I bring the direction and energy to keep the day moving, working through the shot list while staying open to the candid moments that make the work stronger.
03 — Delivery
Edited, retouched, and delivered ready for publication, with expedited turnaround when timing is tight. Prefer to edit in-house? I can hand off raw selects to your team.
THE PROCESS
A straightforward path from first conversation to final delivery.
Freaks of Nature — Beyond the Beach
An independent concept project exploring product, lifestyle, and studio photography across three distinct environments.
Jake & JT Fitness — More Than a Workout
An ongoing photography partnership capturing the coaching, people, and community behind a growing fitness business. From founder portraits to training sessions and retreats, the imagery supports their website, social media, and marketing.

Frequently Asked Questions
1
How much creative direction do you provide?
I can work from an established creative brief or help develop the concept and shot list with you. If your team already has a creative director or agency involved, I'm comfortable working within that direction and contributing ideas along the way. The level of creative involvement depends on what your project needs.
Yes. Photography is my primary focus, and I can incorporate video depending on the needs and scope of the project. We'll discuss what makes sense for your goals during planning.
Do you offer both photography and video?
2
Absolutely. I'm based in the San Francisco Bay Area and available for projects beyond the region. Travel expenses are estimated separately and included in the proposal so you know what to expect.
3
Do you travel for shoots?
At least two weeks before your intended shoot date. Larger or more involved productions may require additional planning time, so reaching out earlier is always helpful.
How far in advance should we book?
4
Every project is different. I build estimates around the scope of the shoot, creative and production requirements, deliverables, and how the images will be used. My proposals break out photography and production costs from image licensing so you can see what's included.
How is commercial photography priced?
5
What usage and licensing rights are included?
6
Image licensing is based on how and where your brand plans to use the photography. We'll discuss your intended usage during planning, and your proposal will outline the licensing terms so you know exactly what's covered.
Turnaround depends on the scope of the project and the amount of editing and retouching involved. We'll agree on a delivery timeline before the shoot so your team can plan accordingly. Expedited delivery is also available for projects with tighter deadlines.
When can we expect our final images?
